We are a lever for our clients to achieve their financial goals, we take that responsibility very seriously. We will never risk our clients' capital on an investment that we are not willing to make with our own capital. We will never put our clients' capital at risk in order to collect a sales commission or incentive fees from service providers. The main driver of our investment decisions is the risk-adjusted benefit to our clients' portfolio and the discount at which we can acquire it. We maintain an open and constant dialogue with our clients about the investments we make. We do not charge hidden commissions or sales commissions to our clients. We are a fee-only advisor, our clients always know exactly how much they pay for our services.
Discipline:
The key to investing successfully is to have a process. But just as important as the process, is to have the discipline to follow that process regardless of fads, media noise or volatility. Discipline keeps us calm and rational in the markets for the benefit of our clients
Independence:
We conduct our own research and analysis when considering investment opportunities. We are not followers of the herd, nor do we accept consensus narratives without having carried out our own detailed analysis whose conclusions point in that the same direction. Raven Capital B.V is the exclusive property of its shareholders; we are not a third-party subsidiary.
Thoroughness:
Our clients' capital was hard-earned before it was entrusted to us, we don't take that lightly. We perform in-depth analysis and collect a copious amount of information before each investment decision. Choosing opportunities that offer superior risk-adjusted returns is only possible after understanding in depth the relationship between risk and return of each investment under consideration.
